REMEMBER….SAFETY FIRST!

Tools & Materials Needed:

Step by Step

1. Look at your sticking door and check reveal (crack between door and jamb) and find where it is closest to the jamb 5. Take your 3″ screw and drill and drive it into the hinge/jamb in place of the screw you removed
2. If it’s tight at the top go to the bottom hinge. If it’s tight on the bottom go to the top hinge 6. Tighten down the screw to suck up the hinge and jamb
3. Open the door and look at the appropriate hinge 7. Close door and it should have reduced the rub by the door
4. remove one of the screws 8. If door still rubs you can drive a screw in the jamb on the latch side of the door where it is sticking or belt sand the door till it clears
