REMEMBER….SAFETY FIRST! WEARING GLOVES AND SAFETY GLASSES CAN PREVENT BROKEN GLASS FROM INJURING YOU.
Tools & Materials Needed:
Step by Step
| 1. Get the correct size lightbulb and take it out of the package | 5. Grab burned out lightbulb with light pressure but firm (do not squeeze too hard, you dont want to crush bulb) |
| 2. Bring your ladder over to the light that needs changing | 6. Twist bulb to the left to unscrew and fully remove |
| 3. Make sure light is in the off position and climb the ladder so you can access the fixture | 7. Get new bulb and screw it into the fixture (turn to right, be careful not to cross-thread) |
| 4. Remove fixture cover if present | 8. Snug up new light (do not over-tighten), check to make sure it works, put fixture cover back on and you’re finished. |
