Posted by on September 17, 2011

REMEMBER….SAFETY FIRST! WEARING GLOVES AND SAFETY GLASSES CAN PREVENT BROKEN GLASS FROM INJURING YOU.

Tools & Materials Needed:

Step by Step

1. Get the correct size lightbulb and take it out of the package 5. Grab burned out lightbulb with light pressure but firm (do not squeeze too hard, you dont want to crush bulb)
2. Bring your ladder over to the light that needs changing 6. Twist bulb to the left to unscrew and fully remove
3. Make sure light is in the off position and climb the ladder so you can access the fixture 7. Get new bulb and screw it into the fixture (turn to right, be careful not to cross-thread)
4. Remove fixture cover if present 8. Snug up new light (do not over-tighten), check to make sure it works, put fixture cover back on and you’re finished.
